Mom's Notes:

Language Arts: We finished reading Mary's Garden and How It Grew as a family read-aloud.
Kennedy: I finished reading Little House by Boston Bay. It was about Charlotte and her family. At the end their friend Will went to serve in the army. Kennedy did reading on Sumdog. Kingston played Smarty Ants to practice reading. Kingston practiced reading on Starfall.


Math: Kennedy played Prodigy math game. We spent time counting.

Social Studies: We are reading about the Reformation in Story of the World. We read about Copernicus and how science was studied in the Renaissance.

Science: We watched two Mystery Doug videos. One was about sweat and the other was about scientists. Kennedy and Kingston watched a lot of Generation Genius videos. We learned that the earth moves around the sun.

Tech/Trep: The kids used the scientific method when building a roller coaster track. They built structures with magnetic toys.




Elective: Kingston learned that blue and red make purple. We went on a walk. The kids climbed a tree. Kennedy did the 5 ballet positions with her grandma that used to take ballet classes. She taught the positions to Kingston. The kids made welcome home posters for Mom and Kai. We rode bikes and played with frisbees. We drew with sidewalk chalk.

Once upon a time there was a rabbit. And every morning he would pick 10 carrots from his garden. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
