Mom's Notes:

Language Arts: Kennedy is writing a talk (oral presentation) on service. Kingston is reading books with Mom. He knows most of the words in Who Can? Daniel Can! While reading we talk about words that rhyme and phonics. Kennedy, "I read Welcome to Lily's Room on Kindle." We practiced writing.



Math: Kingston did a lesson in Teaching Textbooks Math 3. Kennedy did lessons 1-3 in Teaching Textbooks Math 4. The kids laid on the sidewalk and measured each other. Kingston did a math problem himself on the whiteboard.







Social Studies: We read in Story of the World about Walter Raleigh. We played Passport To Culture. Kennedy watched a movie about Walter Raleigh (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-d5BBRbEsk). Kennedy dressed up as Queen Elizabeth I.



Science: We watched Cat in the Hat and learned that rubber comes from trees. We watched Wild Kratts and learned about mimicry in animals. We watched Mystery Doug and learned about gold. We watched DIY Sci on Amazon Prime and learned about some cool science experiments.

Tech/Trep: We took apart the robot lawnmowers. Kennedy and Kingston helped figure out how to remove the clips holding the cover on. We looked at the gears and motors and batteries inside. Kingston built with blocks and dominoes.





Elective: Kennedy worked on her animation program and traced a tiger using layers. We colored pictures. Kennedy helped "babysit" a toddler by playing with her. They played with playdough.

Once upon a time there was a rabbit. And every morning he would pick 10 carrots from his garden. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
