Mom's Notes:

Language Arts: Kennedy read Little House in the Big Woods. Kingston is reading easy reader books. He gets about 50% of the words on his own in the first reading. Kennedy read Twister on Tuesday. 

Math: The kids sorted rocks from dirt. We do a lot of miscellaneous counting each day. The kids often practice their skip counting. We talk about how skip counting is multiplication. The kids practiced counting by hundreds.

Social Studies: We learned about Jacques Cartier founding Canada for France. We read in Story of the World about the sea battle between England and Spain.

Science: We looked at different types of flower bulbs online. We are reading a book about sea anemones and corals. We watched more DIY Sci.

Tech/Trep: The kids built with Legos. Kennedy built a house. They also used blankets to build a fort. Golf in the driveway evolved into rolling the balls down tracks.

Elective: The kids played golf in the driveway. They colored pictures. They used folds in a blanket to make marble tracks.

The Rabbit's Carrots: A Sharing Addition Story

Once upon a time there was a rabbit. And every morning he would pick 10 carrots from his garden. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
