Language Arts: Kennedy emailed her family twice. She revised it ."I don't think I should out we. I should change it to my family." We looked up the difference between murdered and assassinated. We looked for words in Martin Luther King Jr. Kingston wrote words. Kennedy helped him spell baby. Kingston did an alphabet puzzle. Kennedy did a crossword.

Math: Kingston learned, "Five twos is 100 when counting by tens." Kennedy and Kingston played with an abacus. Kennedy did some MLK word problems. Kingston did a dot-to-dot that counted to 48. We discussed how science uses math.
Social Studies: We read about William Penn and Pennsylvania. We learned about MLK. We looked at a map showing Atlanta, GA. Kennedy told us, "Abraham Lincoln was assassinated at the theater. They called him Honest Bae because he had a store and walked a long way to give someone their money back." We read about Newton in Story of the World.
Science: We watched Mystery Doug and learned about hiccups and x-rays. "I didn't know that turtles have bones inside their fins. I learned that hiccups are caused by the muscle in our belly. Usually, we can control our lungs but sometimes the lungs go on their own so we get hiccups," says Kennedy. "I looked at the sea turtle. I thought the shark x-ray was a T Rex." We learned about Newtons laws. We did a force simulation. We rolled and threw balls down stairs for physics experiments. We watched a live stream lesson on fossils and dinosaurs.
Tech/Trep: Kennedy typed up her alphabet song. Kingston built a house from magnet tiles.
Elective: We did some coloring pages. We played musical chairs for PE. Kingston says, "We made a game. The balls are in the box. You throw the ball on the stairs and try to hit it. If it goes in the bucket it is safe. Sometimes it goes back in the box."
