Feb 8-14

Language Arts: Kennedy did a ELA performance task for ISAT with mom. We worked on organizing thoughts to answer the questions. We read The Silver Chair. We read a Dora book. We read picture books.

Math: We played Sum Swamp. We played Monopoly Jr. Kennedy did a math performance test with ISAT. We played Monopoly Deal.







Social Studies: We played Passport to Culture. We read about the English getting India. We played Ticket to Ride.



Science: Kennedy found some tracks in the snow. She tried to research what animal they were from. We couldn't tell if it was a squirrel or a cat. We watched the 3rd grade science lesson about seasons and weather. We learned from Mystery Doug how airplanes fly. We made our own planes and tested their flight paths.



Tech/Trep: We played Robot Turtles. We built ball mazes with Keva Planks. We played Lightbot programming app. We played with our robot.








Elective: We did more drawing. We went to The Art Museum and did some painting. We looked at the art. The teacher talked about landscapes and foregrounds and backgrounds. Kingston says, "These are tubes. And they go here where they can make more tubes." Kingston made a nature art book. We drew portraits.

Once upon a time there was a rabbit. And every morning he would pick 10 carrots from his garden. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
