Mar 1-6

Language Arts: Kennedy is reading Harry Potter on her own. She says, "I've read a lot and I haven't gotten to when Ginny is taken yet. The movie misses a lot." We are reading The Last Battle. Kingston is playing sight word apps and Teach Your Monster to Read.

Math: Kingston practices place value. He says, "Four zero is forty. 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30." We practiced multiplication again. Kennedy says "Three times seven is 21. Nine times 3 is 27." Kennedy did a clock worksheet.



Social Studies: We are reading Story of the World about Captain Cook. Kennedy says, "He went back to England two times after his adventures. On the next time he died so he didn't get back to England a third time. He went to New Zealand and then Australia. He died in Hawaii. The Hawaianns thought he was god but when he came back they hit him and he bled. They were all he's not god. And then they were angry."We watched a show about Australia on Prime. We did a notebook page for Australia.




Science: We learned about reefs and other natural wonders of Australia. We learned about submarines. We watched Magic School Bus and learned about fish. Kennedy says, "They have special activations that they can become in schools. Schools are for scaring sharks away." They played an app about planets and gravity.




Tech/Trep: Kingston says, "This is a cool city. I worked really hard on it." They built a world in Scyscraper on the tablet. They learned about Blender, a 3D program, with their dad.





Elective: Kennedy and Kingston learned songs on the piano. Kennedy says, "I did it without looking at the sheet music. I can play for the beauty of the earth. I like using the piano on my tablet." Kingston says, "I can play some of happy birthday. G G A G C B is the first. D is for doghouse."

Once upon a time there was a rabbit. And every morning he would pick 10 carrots from his garden. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
