Language Arts: Kingston dictated a story. "There was an envelope. The wind blew the envelope up to the mountains. Then the wind blew it up again into the tree." Kennedy is reading the 5th Harry Potter. I read a lot of picture books to Kingston. We are reading The Last Battle.
Math: Kingston drew a maze. Kennedy made a March Madness bracket (all sorts of math involved here). We did Lego math problems. We practiced multiplication with Legos.
Science: We went to Science Spectacular at ISU. Kennedy says, "My favorite was trying to get the balloon static and pull the water to it. I liked the science ball that had static lines. When you touched it then the lines would move." Kingston played an orbit app learning about gravity. Kingston listened to a book about ants. He says, "Ants don't eat leaves. They eat fungus." We learned about plants, how to grow them and what they need to grow. We talked about what happens when plants are not planted in good soil.
Tech/Trep: We built a trampoline. Kennedy and Kingston helped put together the frame. Kingston played Robot Turtles (coding). Kennedy and her dad designed a shop vacuum system. Kingston made an airplane. "It looks like some real airplanes. It has two wings."

Elective: We all jumped on the trampoline. We played dodgeball on the trampoline. Kingston drew pictures to go along with his story. Kingston worked on his collage book. They sculpted with play-dough.
