Language Arts: We played bananagrams. We played Wordscapes.

Math: We did 2 times tables worksheet. We did area and perimeter worksheets. Kennedy did a place value worksheet. Kingston did an "odds" worksheet.

Social Studies: We read about Napoleon. Kennedy says, "He had to live on a tiny island. Napoleon got captured and got sent to a smaller island." We talked about what we would need to live on an island and what rules we would make for our island. Kennedy did a geography worksheet labeling countries using a globe.

Science: We took a Chick Tour at Cal-Ranch. We learned all about chicks, ducks, turkeys, and geese. We decided to get some ducks, chicks, and geese to raise. We had to buy a lamp, food, and feeders. The kids learned how to hold them properly, how to feed them, give them water, clean their bedding, and about keeping them warm. We visited a nursery to look at plants. Kennedy found one from Hawaii and a peppermint plant.

Tech/Trep: We built lots with different materials. Kingston says, "I built a mall. There is a restaurant. There is a hotel. This is the pet store where you can buy pets." We built with Scyscraper.

Elective: Kennedy practiced piano. She played "For the Beauty of the Earth" and "Bingo" and "Happy Birthday." She says, "I haven't practiced in a while so I have to figure it out again." We taught her that if she can read music well then she doesn't have to remember.
