Language Arts: Kennedy is reading the 7th and 5th  Harry Potter books again. Kennedy wrote a story about a dragon and unicorn and monster. "The monster is the unicorn's assistant," she says. Kingston played sight word bingo. Kingston read a tiger book on Epic.

Math: While playing Santorini we worked on strategy. Kingston did some math worksheets. We finished Odd Tod and did some addition and subtraction. We discussed "times 2," halves, and double. Kingston says, "Half of four is two. Half of two is one. Two tens is 20" Kennedy says, "Half of six is three. What is two twelves?" Then I explained that since twelve is ten and two, when we double those (20 and 4) we can find the answer is 24.

Social Studies: We read about the end of the slave trade. We listened to The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass. We played Santorini. Kennedy worked some more on her geography worksheet for Europe. We read about the Zulu Kingdom and South Africa.

Science: We watched Mystery Doug and learned about black holes. We saw other cool pictures from space. We read about dog anatomy.

Tech/Trep: We build towers while playing Santorini. Kingston made a house from cardboard. "The door moves like a regular door. The sides are cut but this side isn't cut all the way so it can open. I'm adding another door of paper."

Elective: The kids learned how to set up camp and a tent. Kennedy sewed. Kingston colored. They rode a skateboard.
