Learning Plan 2020

Math: Interest-led mathematical studies using websites (Prodigy and education.com), games, field trips, hands-on learning, videos, books, and manipulatives to learn multiple math concepts, including (but not limited to) addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, money, time, patterns, 3D shapes, graphing. Some manipulatives we will use are Legos, magformers, beads, cubes, blocks, and more. We often report using worksheets, videos, or photos that show what they are learning.


ELA: Interest-led study will focus on reading a variety of books and writing about what they are reading and learning in life. This will include audiobooks, library books, and e-books. We will use a whiteboard to practice writing skills. We often report using worksheets, videos, or photos that show what they are learning.


Social Studies: Interest-led multidisciplinary social studies will focus on fostering a love of other cultures and history. We will use living history books, Story of the World, field trips, games, videos, and hands-on learning activities to help students understand history and the world. We often report using worksheets, videos, or photos that show what they are learning.


Science: Interest-led multidisciplinary science studies will focus on fostering a love of science, including using the scientific method to be curious about the world. We will use scientific tools, nature walks, science experiments, videos, books, and other resources. We often report using worksheets, videos, or photos that show what they are learning.

Once upon a time there was a rabbit. And every morning he would pick 10 carrots from his garden. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
