Assessment 10

Kestrel- Kindergarten

Language Arts: I listened to my mom read poems. This was my favorite. I like reading poems because I get to eat treats while I listen. Some poems rhyme. Bat and cat rhyme. I like funny poems. (Various Lit, Share Knowledge and Ideas)



Math: I played with money. I bought an ice cream. It cost three dollars.



Social Studies:
When I play Catan I learn can trade things for what I want. I always want sheep, grain, and rocks because I can get cards. (Econ)


Science: (Life) I saw lots of animals at the zoo. My favorite was the tiger. I learned that tigers like to sleep during the day. I also saw penguins.

Social Studies:
I love to play Catan. I use cards to build things. I like to build cities with rocks and grain because they give me more points. I get cards by rolling the dice and getting certain numbers. I learn how to trade and place cities in the areas that make things that I need.




Science: (Life) I looked at animals at the zoo. My favorite was the singing dogs. They even sang for us. I learned they are from Australia. It was my birthday.

Kennedy- 5th Grade

Math: I taught my brothers how to use money. I was the cashier. 


Social Studies:
 I play Catan sometimes. I have to build houses close to items that I need. And if I build by the water I can trade easier for items I need. (Econ) 


Science: (Life) I explored animals at the zoo. My favorite was when the zookeeper told us about the tortoise. She was feeding it lettuce and other vegetables. It was housed with some cranes. The older a tortoise gets the bigger the shell and the spikes get thicker too.

Kestrel- 1st Grade Language Arts: Civil War Video Math:   I learned about dimes and nickels. A dime is 10 cents.
